The Houston Area Bears "First
Turnabout Show" was in 1997. The show benefitted LUEY
weekend because as a member of the Houston Council of Clubs
we were required to have one fundraiser every year. The show
was always in January and it continued for about four years
before the idea was discarded. Three of the shows were at
The Venture N and the last one was at EJ's. I presided over
them until it wasn't a necessity to have the fundraiser for
LUEY.
