The annual First Ladies
Hat Competition aka: The
"TFL" Hat Parade (TFL is
pronounced 'tiffle')
is open to all clubs
and organizations attending LUEY.
This is a contest for best
decorated hat.
TFL Hat Requirements:
Does the President of your
club have a life partner (the "First Lady", get it...
heh heh)? The spouse wears the hat.
If your president is single, follow the chain of command
within your club's board of directors to find the first
board member who is shacked up and living in sin...
Or appoint a member of your club (read: a pledge) to
wear the hat in the TFL 'parade' on Saturday Night.
Traditionally, the hat is created by the club members
&/or board members.
THEME:
The hat
can be anything honoring the debauched fun of LUEY
weekend - or it can be specifically related to your
club.
TIP:
The more
outrageous the better... And
remember... this is Texas - We like 'em
BIG !!
**TFL hats will be
worn and paraded by the appointed club member for first
viewing and judging by a secret panel.
"TIFFLE Tea" is hosted by
The COLT 45's and served by the
TFL Hat contestants on Saturday Night at the BRB.
The TFL hats are again displayed during the Show Of
Shows on Sunday at Rich's and the winner is then
announced.
